Poseidon Home Inspections were excellent.

My wife and I are considering a co-op unit that appears to be in need of some repairs. With co-op units a lot of issues, or potential issues are covered by maintenance fees and the co-op management company...so a lot of people (and from what I've heard some inspectors) don't seem to take co-op inspections that seriously. In any case, being first time home buyers and because of the condition of the unit as well as updates my wife and I were hoping to make, we wanted to be sure there were no surprises. Luckily we found Poseidon Home Inspections.

Andy from Poseidon Home Inspections was punctual, friendly, professional and extremely helpful. The unit was small, but Andy went over every bit of it in detail. He explained what he was checking, why he was checking it as well as what was right, what was an issue and what might be an issue in the future. He was also helpful in answering questions I had as far as potential repairs of issues and related questions in regards to updates we might want to make to the unit. Additionally at my request, Andy briefly checked and made comments regarding the common spaces of the co-op. Although not officially part of the unit inspection, as issues would be covered by co-op common charges, it was reassuring to get his opinion.

All in all, Andy was extremely focused and helpful and his reports are detailed, clear and concise. We would certainly use Poseidon Home Inspections again and highly recommend them.
